Abstract: The Raman spectroscopic technique has been utilized to determine the silicate composition and structure of Kamargaon meteorite (an ordinary chondrite L6 type; Kamargaon: 26°39ˊ01 ̋ N and 93° 46ˊ 02 ̋ E, India). The micro-Raman spectra in the range of 100-2000cm−1 revealed principal characteristic bands of the major minerals: olivine, pyroxene and plagioclase.
