Yoke Stress Analysis of New Engines by Using Finite Element Analysis

Abstract: In this study, an assembly fixture called a "Yoke" that is used to assemble different engine types is analyzed. The new engine has some unique parts which cannot be accommodated on the yoke during the assembly. The fouling part is the outlet water pipe which fouls one of the supporting blocks during the assembly.
