Quinoa has high nutritional value and its consumption has increased worldwide. The objective of the research was to determine the influence of organic amendments on the soil and the agronomic behavior of the crop. It was evaluated in two localities (Cruz Mayo and Cahualla), two organic amendments with the control. A randomized Complete Block Design (DBCA) with six treatments and four repetitions was used. Chemical characteristics of the soil and agromorphological characteristics of the crop were evaluated. Data was subjected to analysis of variance, Tukey test, and principal component analysis. A greater increase in pH was found with T2 (6,87), the highest electrical conductivity with T5 (0,20 mmhos/cm). Regarding the values of organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, T3 was higher with values of 3.05, 0.16, 12.99 and 592.16 respectively. Regarding theyield, the T5 was higher (2036.13 kg/ha). Finally, regarding plant height, length and panicle diameter, the highest values were with T3 with 143.75,26 and 19.75 cm respectively.Correlation was found between the chemical characteristics of the soil with the yield and agromorphological characteristics. Organic amendments significantly improve the chemical characteristics of degraded soils.
