YFR016c/Aip5 is part of an actin nucleation complex in budding yeast cells

Abstract: statementYFR016c/Aip5 binds to the polarisome components Bud6 and Spa2 and supports the polarisome in the formation of actin filaments in yeast cells. AbstractThe polarisome comprises a network of proteins that organizes polar growth in yeast and filamentous fungi.
