Yellowknives Dene and Gwich’in Stellar Wayfinding in Large-Scale Subarctic Landscapes

Abstract: Indigenous systems of stellar wayfinding are rarely described or robustly attested outside of maritime contexts, with few examples reported among peoples of the high Arctic and some desert regions.
