“…In this analysis, we used the Likharev-Semenov model which has been proposed for short Josephson junction corresponding to the regime L < λ J where λ J = Φ 0 2πµ 0 jcd is the Josephson penetration length (λ L is the London penetration length, d = 2λ L + l, j c is the critical current density and µ 0 is the vacuum permeability). Assuming a London penetration depth λ L (0) ∼ 200 nm for our YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7 junctions [32], the Josephson length is λ J ≈ 600 nm for a critical current of 100 µA which is comparable to the width of the junction L=750 nm. Therefore, for the lower part of the temperature range investigated here, the junction is not strictly short and the Likharev-Semenov model may not give a very accurate result.…”

“…We used the Inductex software to calculate the inductance of the SQUID which includes High-Tc Superconducting Quantum Interference Filters (SQIFs) made by ion irradiation8 geometric (L geo ) and kinetic inductance (L K ) since for these temperature this latter is not negligible anymore. L K depends on the superconducting penetration depth λ L , which varies with temperature according to the Gorter-Casimir formula [35,36,37] :…”

“…In particular, ion irradiation of oxide materials has been used for both device fabrication and material modification. [25,26] In LAO/STO, ion beam irradiation processes have been essentially used to induce metal-to-insulator (MIT) transition at the interface by creating defects (amorphization, local disorder) and strains in the heterostructure, either by using 150-350 eV monoatomic argon ions, [27,28] low-Z (2-MeV hydrogen and 500-keV helium) ions [29] or 50-keV oxygen ions [30] (see Table SI-1 in part 1 of Supporting Information).…”
