Abstract: Aim: Sarcopenia as a geriatric syndrome decreases quality of life and increases functional dependency, hospitalization and mortality. “…Örneklem büyüklüğü (Epi Info TM Hastalık Kontrol ve Önleme Merkezi, Atlanta, Georgia, ABD) programında, 86.539 toplam 65 yaş üzeri nüfus üzerinden, diz osteoartrit prevalansı %24,8, sarkopeni prevalansı %16,7 olmak üzere %5 hata payı ve %95 güven aralığıyla hesaplandı.
