Abstract

Throughout the history of humanity on earth, many languages have emerged.From the literary usage of these languages in hundreds of years bysocieties literature, called as the art of good word and writing, has emerged. Culture, that resulting from the processing of language and literary has been the identity of the nation. Introduction to other nations of this identity is realized in different ways throughout history as a cultural transmission. As communities modernize, every country and every state felt the need to teach their language, culture and literature to the people of other countries and thus to promote their culture and identity. In order to make the services of this teaching and promotion more regular and systematic, various institutions were established. In order to meet this need, Turkish Republic initiated the establishment of the Turkish Language and Literature Department in Iran AllamehTabatabai University by a protocol. This study will focus on the introduction of Turkish Language and Literature Department of Foreign Languages Faculty at AllamehTabatabai University; the importance of teachingTurkish language and literature scientifically; the curriculum; the challenges and easiness of teaching Turkish language and literature to the Iranian students; students' requests, expectations and learning situations. In addition, it will be discussed the employment of students who graduate from this department by learning the Turkish language and Turkish literature; the positive contribution of the Turkish Language and Literature as well as the Turkish cultureafter graduation. Bu dillerin toplumlar tarafından yüzlerce yıl edebi bir şekilde kullanımından da edebiyat denilen güzel söz söyleme ve yazma sanatı doğmuştur. Dil ve edebiyatın işlenmesi sonucu ortaya çıkan kültür o milletin kimliği olmuştur. Bu kimliğin diğer milletlere tanıtılması kültür aktarımı olarak tarih boyunca farklı şekillerde gerçekleşmiştir. Toplumlar modernleştikçe her ülke ve her devlet kendi dil, kültür ve edebiyatını başka ülkelerin insanlarına öğretme ve bu şekilde kendi kültür ve kimliğini tanıtma ihtiyacını hissetmiştir. Bu öğretme ve tanıtma hizmetini sistemli hale getirmek ve daha düzenli yapmak için de çeşitli kurumlar oluşturmuşlardır. Türkiye de bu ihtiyacı karşılamak amacıyla İran Allama Tabatabai Üniversitesi bünyesinde Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı bölümü kurulmasına bir protokolle ön ayak olmuştur. Bu çalışmada, Allameh Tabatabai Üniversitesi Yabancı Diller Fakültesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı bölümünün tanıtımı, Türk dili ve edebiyatını bilimsel olarak öğretmesi açısından önemi, müfredat programı ve bölümde İranlı öğrencilere Türk dili ve edebiyatını öğretmenin zorluk ve kolaylıkları; öğrencilerin istekleri, beklentileri ve öğrenme durumları üzerinde durulacaktır.
