Algunos caracteres de Megalosaurus y CPT-1980 son similares: compresión labiolingual y carenas denticuladas en posición simétrica en la corona que llegan hasta la base en la carena distal y hasta la mitad apical en la mesial (Buckland, 1824;Benson et al, 2008).
