“…FERGUSON-SMITH (1965) concluded that girls with deletion long arm X had fewer Turner signs than those with 45,X or deletion short arm X. and he suggested that the reason is that Xp -is responsible for the somatic features of Turner's syndrome. HECHT et al (1970) made a comparison between five cases of Xpand five of Xq -and a large group of 45,X cases and found no remarkable differences. SIMPSON et al (1971) made a survey of eight cases with dkl(Xp) in all cells and found the usual amount of Turner signs.…”
