Abstract: The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is one of the most powerful techniques in molecular biology. In DNA isolation, substances co-extracted from biological samples, such as lipids, polysaccharides, and humic acids, influence amplification of the target gene and act as PCR inhibitors.
