Xanthomonas rydalmerensis sp. nov., a non-pathogenic member of Group 1 Xanthomonas

Abstract: Five bacterial isolates were isolated from Fragaria × ananassa in 1976 in Rydalmere, Australia, during routine biosecurity surveillance. Initially, the results of biochemical characterisation indicated that these isolates represented members of the genus Xanthomonas.
