Xanthogranulomatous Prostatitis Presenting as a Prostatic Abscess: Case Report and Review of Literature

Abstract: Xanthogranulomatous inflammation of the prostate presenting as a prostatic abscess is rare, and we present what we believe to be only the second such case report in the literature. A review of literature related to prostatic abscess as well as xanthogranulomatous inflammation in general is also presented.
