X‐Ray Powder Diffraction Study of Semiconducting Alloys Ag1‐xCuxCd2GaS4 and AgCd2Ga1‐xInxS4.

Abstract: 4 and AgCd2Ga1-xInxS4. -The solid solubility of AgCd2GaS4 in the AgCd2GaS4-'CuCd2GaS4' and AgCd2GaS4-'AgCd2InS4' sections extends from 0 to about 34 mol% 'CuCd2GaS4' and from 0 to 12 mol% 'AgCd2InS4'. Powder XRD reveals that the alloys Ag0.8Cu0.2Cd2GaS4 and AgCd2Ga0.9In0.1S4 crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Pmn2 1 with Z = 2. In the structures, Cu + and In 3+ ions replace Ag + and Ga 3+ ions in their crystallographic positions. -(OLEKSEYUK, I. D.; PARASYUK*, O. V.; HUSAK, O. A.; PISKACH, L. V.; VOL… Show more
