AbstractsAb initio SCF calculations carried out on the planar cluster CuCI4'-suggest that the strong satellites at the high-binding energy side of inner-shell ESCA lines of Cu are due to charge relaxations in the v-bonding orbitals which mix with Cu 3d. The satellite state with the largest intensity may be described as a one-electron excitation Cu 3 d + C13p.Des calculs scF-ab-initio pour I'amas plan CuCI.,-suggbrent, que les forts satellites au c6te de haute energie des lignes ESCA de coeur du Cu sont dOs a des relaxations de charge dans les orbitales des liaisons u qui sont mtlangtes avec Cu 3d. L'etat satellite avec la plus grande intensitt peut &tre decrit comme line excitation i un electron Cu 3d + C13p.SCF-ab-initio-Berechnungen fur das ebene Cluster CuCI4*-deuten an, dass die starken Satellite an der Hochenergieseite der ESCA-Linien des Cu-Rumpfs, von Ladungsrelaxationen in der v-Bindungsorbitalen herruhren, die mit Cu 3 d gemischt werden. Der Satellitzustand mit der grossten Intensitat kann als eine Einelektronenanregung Cu 3d + C13p beschrieben werden.
