X-ray Fluorescence Analysis: Investigation of Microdroplet Sample Preparation

Abstract: This paper reports the investigation of microdroplet sample preparation for phosphate, strontium and rubidium using X-ray fluorescence. Sample filter papers were prepared by drying under 979 Copyright 0 1996 by Marcel Dekker, Inc.980 KAWAUCHI, ISHIDA, AND SAITOH several different conditions and the front and the back sides of the filter papers were measured using X-ray fluorescence (XRF), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and electron-probe microanalysis (EPMA).It was reported by Mur… Show more

“…Neither sulfate nor silicate precipitates upon the addition of calcium ions; both were present in the filtrate of the secondary filtration. These materials were determined by XRF using microdroplet sample preparation (9). Kawauchi (7) also investigated AS hydrolysis based on differences of acid concentration and hydrolysis time in an autoclave.…”
