Abstract:Summary
The X‐ray diagnosis of protruding lesions of the stomach has been discussed. As long as the shape, size, and properties of the surface and margin of the lesion are correctly ascertained, the diagnosis of a benign or malignant lesion is possible. An effort towards demonstrating the shape of the protruding lesion on X‐ray film as correctly as possible–close to the macroscopic findings–is necessary.
