Worldwide mitochondrial DNA diversity and phylogeography of pilot whales (Globicephala spp.)

Abstract: Pilot whales (Globicephala spp.) provide an interesting example of recently diverged oceanic species with a complex evolutionary history. The two species have wide but largely non-overlapping ranges.
