World Knowledge for Control Applications

Abstract: The paper is discussing the necessity of providing controllers with incipient elements of world knowledge: general knowledge on system theory, specific knowledge on the processes, etc. This can be done by means of simulation models and planners. Two benchmark studies developed using the fuzzyinterpolative methodology are proving the ideas.
