Working With Non‐Death Losses in Counseling: An Overview of Grief Needs and Approaches

Abstract: Non‐death losses are a common occurrence in counseling, but little attention in the profession has been directed at using grief models with these losses. Using a case study and two contemporary models, we outline how to effectively use grief models in counseling with non‐death losses across the life span.
