“…The WAI version used in this study was validated in Portuguese [ 31 , 32 ]. In the Arctic sample, depressive symptoms were measured using a 6-item scale corresponding to the Hamilton Depression Subscale (HAM-D6) [ 33 ] that measured symptoms of: feeling blue; feeling no interest in things; feeling lethargy or low in energy; worrying too much about things; blaming yourself for things; and feeling everything is an effort [ 34 ].
