Wolff Rearrangement

Abstract: The thermal, photochemical or catalytic transformation of α‐diazoketones into ketenes is generally known as the Wolff rearrangement. The readiness of Wolff rearrangement is probably due to the evolution of a nitrogen molecule, forming a carbenic intermediate.
