Within‐Case Designs: Distribution‐Free Methods

Abstract: In within‐case designs, individuals are measured repeatedly over time or across multiple experimental conditions. Univariate and multivariate parametric procedures for testing within‐case effects may lose statistical power under departures from a multivariate normal distribution.
