‘With Rome and with Moscow’: Italian Catholic Communism and Anti-Fascist Exile

Abstract: This article aims to explore the interplay between religion and political radicalism in Europe by focusing on the case of Italian ‘White Leagues’ (Catholic trade unions) in the interwar period.
