Abstract:Male Wistar rats were subjected to a eomplege bilateral vagotomy and a pyloroplasty. 4 weeks later followed in urethane anesthesia a continuous perfusion of the stomach with 0.9~/o saline according to the rat preparation of Ghosh. The completeness of the gastric vagotomy was confirmed by a postoperative insulin test.
