Wind energy resource assessment of desert sites in Algeria: energy and reduction of CO<sub>2</sub> emissions

Abstract: <p><span>This paper presents a statistical analysis of wind potential of four locations in southern Algeria, namely Adrar, In Salah, Illizi and Tamanrasset, using the Weibull distribution.
