Abstract:The broad-spectrum polarization and spectral characteristics of pulsars contain crucial information about the origin of their radio emission. These properties, together with pulsar flux density variations, can also be used to guide future surveys of radio pulsars and probe the Galactic interstellar medium. In this paper, we present studies of 18 pulsars at high Galactic latitudes using the Ultra-Wideband Low (UWL) receiver of the Parkes radio telescope. For these pulsars, we measured their wideband flux densit… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
