Abstract:Micro-structured metallic devices are used extensively to control the transmission and absorption of electromagnetic waves in the optical, infrared, THz, and microwave domains. The simplest geometry of this class consists of arrays of metal strips printed on a dielectric substrate. The combination of two closely spaced structures of this kind has been proposed to provide control using electrically ultra-thin devices. Models of this kind of structures have been developed for highly symmetrical configurations by… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
