Wideband digital multi-channel merge-split fast Fourier transform spectrometer: design and characterization

Abstract: We developed a wideband multi-channel merge-split fast Fourier transform spectrometer (FFTS) using analog-to-digital convertors (ADC) for signal sampling and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA) for real-time spectrum generation.
