“…Tuning optimization for several times in ADS, the final values of the components obtained are L 1 = 270 pH, L 2 = 47.43 pH, C 1 = 0.595 pF, C 2 = 3.248 pF. And then we can simplify (8) and (9) to get (10) and (11).…”

“…It has been widely used in radar‐stealth radome, 2 reflector antenna system, reducing antenna radar cross section (RCS) 3 . Regarding the design of FSS unit, the previous literatures mostly started directly from the structure, through the design of miniaturization, 4 multilayer FSS cascade, 5 loading with active LC devices, 6 loading graphene 7 or substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) 8 to improve the in‐band transmission and out‐of‐band suppression of FSS units. These methods open up new ideas for the research of FSS.…”

“…Therefore, SIW technology has been extensively applied in the design of FSSs to realize high‐frequency selectivity, rapid cut‐off frequency, and so forth 2,15–19 . However, SIW cavities are usually larger than half a wavelength, and the interaction between working modes of the cavity and FSS resonant modes often results in incident angle instability and narrow bandwidth 2,20–24 . In Wang and Cheng, 20 the proposed size of SIW cavity is 0.5 λ 0 , its incident angle stability can only reach up to 15° and bandwidth is only 7%.…”

“…In References 10–12, high‐order resonance modes in SIW cavities and slot resonance were utilized to improve the selectivity despite the bulky elements. On this basis, half‐mode and quarter‐mode SIW (QMSIW)‐based FSS were proposed in References 13–15 to miniaturize unit sizes. However, they either maintained improvements in one sideband or only worked for single polarization.…”
