Abstract:This research discusses the methodology of determining the beginning and end of Ramadan practiced by the Aoliah community. The methodology for determining the beginning and end of Ramadan was actually established by Prophet Muhammad through an authentic hadith stating, "Start fasting when you see the crescent moon and stop fasting when you see the crescent moon, and if it is cloudy, then complete the count of thirty days."
