Wholebody autoradiographic study after a single dose of204thallium in young rats

Abstract: The distribution of ^"^TI uptake in young rats after intraperitoneal injection was studied. Dcnsitometry showed that the highest accumulation of isotope was recorded in dentin and epithelial structures whereas the CNS had a comparatively low labeling. The uptake of different organs correlated well to the clinical symptoms recorded at acute thallium poisoning.
