When Worlds Collide: Manichaeism and Christianity in Late Antiquity

Abstract

(online) blogs.ourj.uoregon.edu * Sierra Dawn McClain graduated from the University of Oregon in 2018 with her Bachelor of Arts in history. Sierra enjoyed researching for and writing this paper since it blended her interests in European and Middle Eastern history as well as her application of the Latin language. Sierra will graduate from the U of O June 2019, Phi Beta Kappa, with her Master of Arts in journalism. She loves working at the intersection of history and journalismwriting about how and why we got here, where we are now and where we're headed. June through August, after graduation, she be an intern reporter for the Capital Press in Salem, Oregon-through the Charles Snowden Program for Excellence in Journalism. August through November, she will work at the United Nations as a media and research intern in the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland. Sierra lives on a farm in Eugene, Oregon. In her free time, she enjoys bike riding, ballroom dancing and oil painting landscapes in the wilderness.
