“…Developing the analogy between the human cell membrane and the Nafion membrane, we note that there are a number of organic compounds that stimulate the permeability of various ions through the cation channels of the cell membrane. We can say that the Nafion polymer membrane is similar to synthetic biological polymer membranes; see the recent review [20]. In this regard, the alkaloid piperine (C 17 H 19 NO 3 ), which stimulates the conductivity of calcium [21] and potassium [22] ions in human cell channels, is of particular interest to study.…”

“…Various decellularized fruit and vegetable -derived tissues as scaffolds have been investigated in vitro (Salehi et al, 2020;Contessi Negrini et al, 2020). Previously, there was a very complex foreign body reaction after implantation of foreign materials (Klopfleisch and Jung, 2017;Jurak et al, 2021), we also showed that foreign body reaction occurred after implantation of different patch materials. The new tissue capsuled the patch as early as day 7 after implantation (Bai et al, 2021c), the inflammatory response of surgical implantation deceased after 2 weeks, (de la Oliva et al, 2018), (Bai et al, 2017c) and the leaf patch also showed a similar healing process when compared to other patch materials (Bai et al, 2021a).…”

“…The degree of crystallization in the polymer will finally affect its degradation, cells adhesion as well as immune response. [ 36 ] Thus, the melting and crystallization behaviors of the electrospun P4HB‐based mats were investigated by DSC. The corresponding crystallization temperature ( T c ), melting temperature ( T m ), crystallization enthalpy (Δ H c ), and melting enthalpy (Δ H m ) of the samples are summarized in Table S1, Supporting Information.…”
