Well-preserved cuticle of Atherfieldastacus magnus (Decapoda, Glypheida) from the Aptian of Mexico

Abstract: The cuticle structure of fossil decapod crustaceans is an important tool, not only for palaeocological and taphonomic interpretations, but also as a potential way to characterise systematically genera and even species the cuticle of which has not been severely altered by diagenetic processes.
