Welding

Abstract: Welding is a fabrication technology of broad scope whereby fusion of materials is achieved through application of heat and/or pressure. Fabricated metals and nonmetals products include bridges, buildings, ships, automobiles, offshore platforms, pipelines, pressure vessels, consumer appliances, and miniature welds used in microcircuits.
