Abstract: Background Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is an inherited disorder, which causes brittle bones resulting in recurrent fractures. The associated poor mobility of children with OI increases susceptibility to obesity, and obesity further dramatically limits mobility and increases fracture risk.
