In the Internet age, most of information is available on the Internet in the different formats which known as "Internet resources" and people use Internet information for their different purposes but it is very essential for every Internet user to evaluate the retrieved Internet resources before making their uses to accomplish the tasks. This paper presents a review of selected literature found on evaluation of Internet resources available in different format in LIS domain with the following objectivities (i) To know the literature available on the need of evaluation of Internet resources; (ii) To identify the availability of literature on evaluating Internet resources; (iii) To examine the various criteria suggested for evaluating different types Internet resources by authors. This study will assist to users in framing the evaluation criteria for resources exist in various formats on the Internet.

This paper aims to find out the level of awareness and use of library portals by the students of Engineering and Technology of Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to the undergraduate and postgraduate students of Engineering and Technology at AMU. The survey found that the majority of the students use library portals but not regularly. The study also found that the reasons for not using the library portal were lack of awareness, training and guidance, and the lack of contents on the library portal. The majority of the respondents gave average value to their library with regard to portal provision of course material and useful links. A majority of the respondents also expressed that they needed instructions and help for the effective utilisation of resources on the library portal.

The Internet is rapidly becoming the dominant user decision making tool for the hotel accommodation purchase process. This paper critically reviews online hotel accommodation purchase processes literature and proposes a literature framework analysis of online hotel accommodation process factors. The objective of this research is to propose a statistically based framework based on clickstream/log file analytics of both the internal and external influencers of the process. The internal process influencers (the individual themselves, search engines, third parties/social media sites and hotel websites) and the external process influencers (online access devices and user visual interaction) are reviewed before being formulated into proposed framework of the online hotel accommodation process.
