This paper presents City i-Tick, the android based mobile application for students’ attendance at a university. In this study, we developed mobile application for lecturers to take students’ attendance in City University, Petaling Jaya. Managing students’ attendance during lecture periods has become a difficult challenge. The research objectives for this study are to identify user requirement for City i-Tick, to design and develop City i-Tick, and to demonstrate the prototype of City i-Tick. The study is a narrative participatory design and exploits Design Thinking as the research methodology. City i-Tick was successfully validated by 14 lecturers and System Usability Scale (SUS) was used to determine the findings of the study. We found that City i-Tick is effective for lecturers in taking attendance because it is easy to use, easy to learn, and the users feel confident when using this application.

Usability adalah metode kualitatif untuk menganalisis atau menguji taraf kemudahan pengguna terhadap suatu sistem. Proses usability testing bisa melibatkan pengguna atau tidak sama sekali melibatkan pengguna dalam proses mengujinya. Website yang baik harus mengandung prinsip-prinsip seperti learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, dan satisfaction pada website agar bisa dianggap sebagai website yang layak digunakan oleh banyak orang. Kitabisa.com merupakan sebuah sebuah platform menggalang dana dan berdonasi secara online yang tersedia dalam bentuk website dan aplikasi smartphone. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji usability website kitabisa.com pada tampilan desktop yang memiliki tampilan sama persis dengan tampilan website versi mobile. Dengan menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS) didapatkan hasil yang cukup mengejutkan, website dengan tampilan yang sama persis seperti versi mobile nya ini mendapatkan score 75 dengan grade B pada pengujian menggunakan metode SUS yang diikuti oleh 40 responden penguji. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa website kitabisa.com layak untuk digunakan oleh banyak orang sebagai website donasi dan penggalangan dana.

Pandemic circumstances caused approximately 37.000 small and medium-sized enterprises or also known as (MSMEs) faced a decline. Employing technology can assist these businesses in marketing and selling their products beyond local boundaries, extending their reach to the national level. User Interface and User Experience market application for Balinese custom products as well as providing services related to Balinese custom. The Balinese Traditional Products marketplace application can provide products related to Balinese customs such as Hindu religious infrastructure, Balinese snacks, taru premana event organizer services, traditional massage services and others. The user interface and user experience designed using the Design Thinking method which produces a high fidelity prototype that can be tested like the final application. User experience development can be done as well as possible because development focuses on user needs. Through prototype testing using the usability testing method, the test results using System Usability Scale method get a score of 88.375. Based on these scores the designed prototype is included in the acceptable category in the acceptance rating, category B in the class scale and in the adjective ranking is included in the very good category.
