Decision support systems (DSSs) have been traditionally identified as useful information technology tools in a variety of fields, including the context of cultural heritage. However, to the best of our knowledge, no prior study has developed a DSS framework that incorporates all the main decision areas simultaneously in the context of cultural heritage. We fill this gap by focusing on design-science research and specifically by developing a DSS framework whose features support all the main decision areas for the sustainable management of cultural assets in a comprehensive manner. The main decision-making areas considered in our study encompass demand management, segmentation and communication, pricing, space management, and services management. For these areas, we select appropriate decision-making supporting techniques and data management solutions. The development of our framework, in the form of a web-based system, results in an architectural solution that is able to satisfy critical requirements such as ease of use and response time. We present an application of the innovative DSS framework to a museum and discuss the main managerial implications and future improvements.

Saat ini proses promosi sekolah MTs Muhammadiyah Metro untuk menjaring siswa-siswa baru dilakukan tanpa terorganisirdengan baik sehingga proses promosi akan banyak tidak tepat sasaran dan memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama. Hal initerjadi dikarenakan sekolah tidak melakukan pemetaan asal-muasal siswa-siswa yang telah (alumni) dan atau sedangbersekolah di MTs Muhammadiyah Metro. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu proses penjaringan siswa baru semakinoptimal Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Sistem Informasi Geografis (GIS), pengelolaan data alamat siswa dan alumni dapatterkomputerisasi dan dapat ditampilkan dalam bentuk peta digital (maps) dengan memanfaatkan Google Maps API untukvisual yang lebih jelas. Model pengembangan prototipe diterapkan dalam proses pengembangan sistemnya. Penelitian iniberhasil mengembangan prototipe sistem infomasi geografis sesuai dengan requirement yang telah diidentifikasi denganpihak sekolah.

Indonesians parent widely use private school shuttle services for their schoolchild due to their lack of time and effectiveness, unfortunately mostly of those shuttle vehicles (car or motor cycle) services currently cannot be tracked. From a security point of view, the parent's need a system that can identified the location of the vehicle in real-time. With rapid technological development today, parents' skepticism can be overcome by tracking the shuttle vehicles through a mobile applications that connected to Global Positioning System (GPS). This research presents the design of a prototype, called "AS-OJEK", an android-based mobile apps and web technology for schoolchild shuttle applications that used several technology such as Web-services, JSON, PHP, MySQL and bootstrap framework as application builders. The application could be installed on any android smartphone version, it will be able to send the location and displaying the vehicle shuttle location on the smartphone screen and display historical location of the tracked vehicle. Rapid Application Development (RAD) framework was used as a software development method, with its 4 phases; phase 1: requirements planning and specifications, phase 2: user design, phase 3: construction, phase 4: cutover. The application was already appropriate with user's needs, proven by performing functional testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT). Based on the results of the UAT, this application has been running well and succeed sending vehicle location to the server, and can tracked through mobile-apps or web applications.
