Watertight Door Control System on A Ship using Profinet IO

Abstract: The paper is to deal with the analysis of Profinet IO networks based on the design of a watertight door control system on a passenger ship. The analysis was based on modernization of existing watertight door system installed on a ship. The currency system on ship it use old PLC like S7-200, receive and send date only serial communication.
