Water-resources reconnaissance of Prince William Forest Park, Virginia

Abstract: The water resources of Prince William Forest Park are described and possible locations for additional supply wells and springs are identified. Specific-capacity tests at eight supply wells in 1982 indicate little change in yield since about 1970. At Goodwill Camp No. 3, an unused spring with a yield of approximately 7 gallons per minute is available to augment the present supply.
