“Watchful Waiting” Advice for Pediatric Ear Infections

Abstract: To reduce antibiotic use, clinical guidelines recommend treating many pediatric ear infections with watchful waiting (WW), which entails parents managing children’s symptoms while waiting to see if the infection will resolve without antibiotics.
