Reziumė Disertacijoje nagrinėjamos procesų integracijos metodo taikymo galimybės sprendžiant efektyvaus energijos vartojimo pastatų inžinerinėse sistemose problemas. Tarp pastato inžinerinių sistemų darbe išskiriamos ženkliau energiją naudojančios, mikroklimatą pastatuose formuojančios sistemos. Klasikiniai tyrimo metodai, skirti šilumos mainams šilumokaičiuose, kurie atlieka šilumos perdavimo funkciją, nagrinėti pateikia gana ribotus sprendinius, kaip efektyviai naudoti energiją juose. Pagrindinis disertacijos tikslas-įvertinti procesų integravimo metodo taikymo galimybes viešųjų pastatų inžinerinių sistemų termodinaminiam efektyvumui nustatyti ir gerinti. Disertacijoje taip pat siekiama derinti procesų integracijos galimybes inžinerinėse sistemose siekiant minimizuoti eksergijos srautus jose. Darbe sprendžiami keli pagrindiniai uždaviniai: probleminių, energinio efektyvumo požiūriu, pastato inžinerinių sistemų, įrenginių ir procesų jose nustatymas, vėdinimo sistemų projektinių sprendimų ypatybių nustatymas, algoritmo, skirto procesų eksergijos sąnaudoms mažinti pastato inžinerinėse sistemose sudarymas derinant termodinaminės ir Pinch analizės metodus. Disertaciją sudaro įvadas, keturi skyriai, rezultatų apibendrinimas, naudotos literatūros ir autorės publikacijų disertacijos tema sąrašai. Įvadiniame skyriuje aptariama tiriamoji problema, darbo aktualumas, aprašomas tyrimų objektas, formuluojamas darbo tikslas bei uždaviniai, aprašoma tyrimų metodika, darbo mokslinis naujumas, darbo rezultatų praktinė reikšmė, ginamieji teiginiai. Įvado pabaigoje pristatomos disertacijos tema autorės paskelbtos publikacijos ir pranešimai konferencijose bei disertacijos struktūra. Pirmasis skyrius skirtas literatūros analizei. Jame pateikta metodų, skirtų procesų integracijai inžinerinėse sistemose, apžvalga, tų metodų privalumai, trūkumai. Skyriaus pabaigoje formuluojamos išvados ir disertacijos uždaviniai. Antrajame skyriuje aptariama metodika, siejama su procesų inžinerinėse sistemose integravimu. Trečiajame skyriuje tiriamos vėdinimo taip pat ir kitų inžinerinių sistemų integracijos galimybės. Ketvirtajame skyriuje siūlomas algoritmas procesams minėtose sistemose integruoti. Disertacijos tema paskelbti 6 straipsniai: vienas-žurnale, įtrauktame į ISI Web of Science sąrašą, vienas-ICONDA duomenų bazėje referuojamame žurnale bei 4 tarptautinių ir respublikinių konferencijų medžiagose.

Energy integration of multiple plants may be carried out indirectly through thermal oil. Flow rate of thermal oil is related to the heat to be transferred, and it affects the capacity and power requirement of the pumps and the piping size. In this paper, a linear programming formulation is proposed to minimize the flow rate of thermal oil. The proposed formulation considers the minimum total utilities requirement for indirectly integrated multiple plants as a constraint. For the special case of two plants integration, a graphical methodology, based on the principles of Pinch Analysis, is also developed. The proposed methodologies are illustrated with examples, and possible heat exchanger networks are developed.

A sharp increase in worldwide energy requirements has forced people to exploit novel energy conservation technologies and new alternative energies. Heat integration, as a method of saving energy, is proposed in this paper in the form of integrating multiple hot discharges/feeds between plants and utility streams to reduce utility requirements and increase steam production for the total site. T–Q graphic methods are proposed to coordinate the temperatures of multiple hot discharges/feeds between plants and the steam production. The grand composite curve (GCC), the composite curve of the streams employed for hot discharges/feeds, and the curve of steam generation are combined into the T–Q diagram to obtain an insight into the interrelationship between these streams. A bilevel mixed integer linear programming (MILP) framework is presented to minimize the total hot and cold utilities of the up and down plants and to maximize the steam generation in the total site. The first level of the programming framework is formulated to target the utility requirements, and the second level of the programming framework is formulated to maximize the steam production. Two examples are investigated to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method, and the results show a decrease in the total hot and cold utilities of the up and down plants and also indicate an increase in steam production.
