Abstract

What Do Innovation and Innovativeness Mean for Companies, Public Institutions and Civil Society Actors? Recommendations for Student Interviews in Secondary EducationThis paper introduces teaching material for collecting and developing different ideas of innovation and innovativeness of various perspectives (companies, public institutions, individual participants of civil society etc.). The analyses by students and the suggestions for dealing with innovation and innovativeness in classrooms are located in the approach of inquiry-based learning and serve as a contribution to innovativeness education. This concept addresses the question, how students can be enabled to participate in innovation processes (Scharf et al. 2017; Weis et al. 2017a/b) and to encourage them to participate in both current and future challenges.
