Walsh–Hadamard analysis applied to the study of light propagation in a tapered gradient-index medium

Abstract: The analysis of light propagation in a tapered gradient-index (GRIN) medium when the input signal is a binary function is considered with the Walsh-Hadamard analysis. The study of the evolution of the sequency spectrum through the GRIN medium by the Walsh-Hadamard transform confirms the self-imaging effect.

“…To answer this question, we first analyze the spectrum of the trajectories of some non-rigid feature points and two typical wavelet trajectory bases, DCT 10,17 and WHT. 8,22 Then the error in the representation results of these trajectories by the two trajectory bases are investigated.…”
