Wall surface leakage effects on magnetohydrodynamic power generator performance

Abstract: Internal surface-leakage effects on magnetohydrodynamic power generator performance were studied using a combined experimental and analytical approach. A method to determine the wall resistance and slag layer conductivity distributions from seed shutoff test data is introduced.
