Walkaway VSP data processing methods and their application in H oilfield

Abstract

This paper develops some key VSP data processing methods, including VSP surface-consistent deconvolution processing method based on the direct wave, wavefield separation technique based on global optimization, VSP inverse Q filtering method based on ray tracing and VSP migration method based on one-way wave equation. The processing test on walkaway VSP data from well Z1 in H oilfield shows that these methods can effectively improve the processing results of walkaway VSP data.
