Abstract:OverviewIntracellular membrane trafficking in eukaryotes is a multiple step process consisting in the budding of vesicles from a donor compartment, their translocation into the cytoplasm along cytoskeletal elements, their tethering, and subsequent fusion with the membrane of the target compartment.
