Abstract:The vortex electromagnetic wave has shown great prospects of radar applications, due to the orbital angular momentum (OAM) degree of freedom. However, the radiation energy convergence of the OAM beam remains a hard problem to be solved for radar target imaging in realistic scenario. In this paper, an OAM beam generation method is developed exploiting the OAM and waveform degrees of freedom simultaneously, which can collimate the beams with different OAM modes. Furthermore, the echo demodulation and the imaging… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
